Discharge the poisonous and harmful gases emitted from the drainage pipes into the atmosphere of a certain space to meet the sanitary requirements; Supply air to the drainage pipe to reduce the amplitude of air pressure fluctuation and prevent water seal damage; Frequent supplement of fresh air can reduce the corrosion of the inner wall of the metal pipe by waste gas and prolong the service life of the pipe. When the drain pipe is not drained, it is full of air. When the water is drained, the air in the drain pipe will have an exhaust port to drain out, making the drainage more smooth. For example, when we drink mineral water, the bottle mouth is blocked all the time, so why not come out? We should leave a gap and put some air in.
There are many kinds of vent pipes:
(1) The connection between the top vent pipe drainage riser and the top horizontal drainage branch pipe is vertically extended to the outdoor pipe for ventilation.
(2) The special vent riser is only connected with the drainage riser. It is a vertical vent pipe set for air circulation in the drainage riser.
(3) The main vent riser is connected with the annular vent pipe and the drainage riser, and it is a dedicated vent riser for air circulation in the drainage horizontal branch pipe and drainage riser.
(4) The auxiliary vent riser is only connected with the annular vent pipe to make the air in the horizontal drainage branch pipe circulate.
(5) Combine the pipe section connecting the vent and drainage riser with the vent riser.
(6) The annular vent pipe is on the horizontal branch of the drainage pipe of several sanitary appliances, and the water supply for high-rise buildings is connected from the downstream end of the first sanitary appliance to a section of vent pipe of the vent riser.
(7) The outlet of the sanitary ware trap of the appliance vent pipe is terminated to the pipe section of the main vent pipe.
(8) The converging vent pipe connects several vent risers or the vent part at the top of the drainage riser, and extends to the vent pipe section of the outdoor atmosphere.
