After the three-way catalytic converter is blocked, when high-pressure exhaust is required, the blockage will lead to poor exhaust, which will affect the intake air volume, thus leading to a decrease in engine power, which will then lead to a decrease in power and a lack of fuel, which will make running feel bad. In this respect, the power decreases at this time. In order to obtain the same power output, the driver will certainly increase the accelerator, which will also lead to increased fuel consumption.
The engine shakes, the fault light is on, and the engine shuts down frequently.
When the three-way catalytic converter is seriously blocked, the exhaust gas cannot be discharged in time, which will inevitably cause back pressure back flow. When the pressure exceeds the pressure value discharged by the engine, it will recoil to the combustion chamber, causing the engine to shake, gasp and even stall.
